Republican congressional candidate Belinda Keiser just earned some key backup as she runs for Congress.
The Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association is endorsing her campaign for an open seat representing Florida’s 22nd Congressional District.
“Belinda Keiser is a strong law and order conservative who understands the importance of protecting and supporting the men and women who keep our communities safe, and that’s why the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association is proud to endorse her campaign for Congressional District 22,” said John Kazanjian, President of the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association.
“In Washington, she will effectively advocate for the needs of law enforcement, defending the rule of law, holding criminals accountable and keeping our communities safe. We ask our members, their friends and families — and all citizens of Palm Beach County who respect the strong and efficient enforcement of our laws — to cast their ballots in support of Belinda Keiser.”
Kaiser embraced the support and promised to be an ally to those in uniform.
“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association. Every day, the brave men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect our families, uphold the rule of law, and keep our communities safe,” Keiser said.
“I understand the importance of what they do, and that’s why we made it a priority to have an interactive, hands-on training, the Multiple Interactive Learning Objective (MILO) simulator, available for our criminal justice and homeland security students at Keiser University. Our law enforcement deserve leaders who will always have their backs and in Congress, I will fight to ensure they have the resources, training and support they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.”
Keiser, Vice Chancellor of Keiser University, is one of seven Republicans who qualified to run for the open seat. A new congressional map enacted this year by Gov. Ron DeSantis left the battleground seat with no natural incumbent.
Under the new lines, about 55% of voters in CD 22 supported Republican Donald Trump in the 2024 Presidential Election.
