Detectives are looking for the suspects behind two separate violent stabbings in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday.
According to law enforcement sources, the first attack unfolded just before 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 outside of a watch store located at 15 West 47th St.
Law enforcement sources said the victim, a 26-year-old man, was approached by an unidentified woman and stabbed once in the back in what cops believe was an unprovoked attack.
Following the assault, police reported, the female perpetrator fled the scene westbound on West 47th Street toward 6th Avenue.
The victim, meanwhile, was rushed by EMS to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Later that night, police reported, a group of men robbed and then stabbed a 18-year-0ld man outside 777 7th Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Based on a preliminary investigation, cops learned that the victim was in a conversation with four men at the location when things devolved into a heated argument.
The beef turned bloody, cops said, when one of the group of four men pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the 18-year-old man in the shoulder and forehead. The other members of the group also punched and kicked the victim about the body.
Before leaving their victim in a bloody mess, the men stole his backpack, authorities reported.
A Good Samaritan then drove the teen to Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, where he was listed in stable condition.
Both stabbings were reported to the Midtown North Precinct. No arrests have been made in either case as of Thursday morning.
According to NYPD data, felony assaults in the precinct have spiked by 19.8% year-to-date through Oct. 18, from 268 incidents last year to 321 this year.
