Gap is celebrating the launch of its new Five-Pocket Tote bag line at Rockefeller Center this weekend.

A giant Gap bag has made itself at home in Rockefeller Center for the weekend.
From Sept. 11-13, guests can find an immersive pop-up at the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center, located at 620 Fifth Ave., celebrating the launch of GapBag, which is Gap’s new collection designed by Reed Krakoff, Executive Director of Accessories at Gap Inc. The pop-up is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The pop-up is centered around the Five-Pocket Tote, which features design details inspired by Gap Denim, including five-pocket stitching, belt loops and denim hardware.
Those who come through the pop-up can shop the Five-Pocket Tote on site, which is available in a range of sizes and washes. Visitors can then make their bag truly their own through customization experiences available exclusively at the pop-up, such as chainstitch personalization and adding limited-edition charms and accessories. Gap members can also get special perks and an elevated shopping experience at the pop-up.
Throughout the course of the pop-up, a line of limited-edition Five-Pocket Totes customized by New York-based artist FAUST and British visual artist Shantell Martin will become available, giving customers an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind GapBag collectible.
A selection of the GapBag collection is now available at all North American Gap stores. Select locations will offer an expanded assortment of bags, charms and accessories.
