Police are searching for two men after they stabbed a commuter in the back aboard a Manhattan train on Tuesday afternoon.

Cops are searching for two men who violently stabbed a man in the back aboard a train in Harlem on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police sources, the incident unfolded aboard a downtown-bound 4 train at around 1:17 p.m. on May 12 as it rolled into the 125th Street station below Lexington Avenue.
The sources said the victim, a 29-year-old man, bumped into the two suspects on the train, resulting in a verbal dispute.
During the confrontation, one of the perpetrators pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the back before fleeing.
The wounded man staggered out of the train, leaving a trail of blood on the downtown platform.
Officers from NYPD Transit District 4 responded to the incident. EMS rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing. Police sources said the perpetrators were last seen wearing all black clothing and ski masks.
