Twisted Track Station is a restaurant, bar, and outdoor street gallery located at 1201 R St in Sacramento, formerly the site of Shoki Ramen House, and directly across from Twisted Track Gallery. The eatery is owned by Matt and Fred Haines, who also own ROC&SOL Diner, Wildwood Kitchen & Bar, Suzie Burger, and Bistro 33 On The Go (food truck).
My wife, sister, and I visited on a Wednesday morning for our weekly Breakfast Club, and it did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich was outstanding – nicely toasted thick and fluffy brioche, scrambled eggs, American cheese, white cheddar cheese, and herb mayo. I opted to make it XL for $2 more (choice of applewood smoked bacon or breakfast sausage – I went with the sausage).
The breakfast burrito was equally delicious, featuring scrambled eggs, tater tots, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and Calabria chili aioli. (Same options to make it XL)
There’s a really nice espresso machine, and they offer all the typical espresso drinks, as well as brewed coffee and coldbrew. Optional non-dairy milks include oat milk and almond milk. They also have a matcha latte and bags of tea.
There’s an outdoor patio area with art all along the walls. On Sundays, they feature a Dog Party from 11am until 2pm, with drink specials and doggie treats.
The menu has additional breakfast items, as well as lunch and dinner items (burgers, fish tacos, caesar salad, and more). We definitely plan to return to sample the non-breakfast fare.
