One of the key components of a good stadium experience is great food, and “The World’s Most Famous Arena” has that box checked off.
Madison Square Garden Entertainment hosted the MSG Eats event on Tuesday to preview and unveil a selection of the over 70 concession stands available throughout the 2026-27 season. Whether you’re attending a Knicks or Rangers game, or going to a concert, there is something for everyone.
“What makes this so special is that you can be at the game on time,” former Knicks all-star John Starks told amNewYork. “I remember, during my playing days, fans used to say, ‘Why can’t you have better food at The Garden? That way, I can be at the game on time.’ Now it’s here. You have everything that you need to truly have the Garden experience.”
The items on display ranged from many different styles, including burgers and gluten-free pizza to Japanese food and barbecue, all of which received high praise from former Rangers left wing Brian Mullen.

“I look forward to this event every year. I think I’ve done this event two or three times now and the food is incredible every year,” Mullen told amNewYork. “You walk around, and everything looks so good. The sushi, ribs; it’s an incredible event.”
Alongside the standard stadium fare such as burgers and chicken, MSG made a point to provide a full restaurant experience to go with the event of choice. Collaborations with different restaurants and purveyors helped elevate fans’ culinary options with notable spots from around New York City, including Tao, 7th Street Burger and Pat LaFrieda.
“It’s super important to provide a great product where stadium food used to just be French fries and hot dogs. Now you come in with your friends and family to enjoy a great meal before the event,” Chief Culinary Officer of Tao Group Ralph Scamardella told amNewYork. “It was a definite effort by the Madison Square Garden management to elevate everything that we do here and really give a great experience.”
Brand new to MSG this year are Glaze Teriyaki, serving rice bowls with grass-fed steak and vegetables; and Chickies Kosher, serving fried chicken sandwiches topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Kumbaslow sauce on a baguette.

Entering its 16th season at MSG, Carnegie Deli returns with its iconic pastrami, corned beef and turkey sandwiches. The stand was the last remaining New York location until they re-opened in September.
Running through Oct. 31, Café 30 will be serving nightlife-inspired items to celebrate the Harry Styles Together, Together residency. The headlining display item was the Me & You Mocktail, a mix of rose water, lemonade, and blood orange juice. Also on the menu are fried Oreos and a homemade funnel cake, both served with powdered sugar.
Adding to MSG’s Japanese Cuisine, Tao brings their selection of sushi rolls to the table, with their salmon, tuna, and avocado roll topped with tempura flakes and kabayaki and aji amarillo sauce.
Coming up on their sophomore seasons at the Garden, Shah’s Halal, Impossible Grille and Insomnia Cookie return to serve lamb or chicken over rice, vegan burgers and chicken rice bowls and warm, fresh cookies to fans looking for something unique.
Whether you’re looking for a burger, sushi, or something vegan, Madison Square Garden will have something in store for everyone this season.
