Metro EDGE is offering a 24-hour-only flash sale for discounted $100 tickets beginning on Monday, May 11
Spearheaded by Metro EDGE, a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation, the 12th Annual Emerge Summit is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre, in Midtown Sacramento. To make the high-energy conference as accessible as possible for young professionals building their careers, Metro EDGE is holding a 24-hour flash sale for a discounted $100 general admission ticket price (a $35 savings) starting on Monday, May 11, at 8 a.m.
Emerge Summit is the premier one-day conference for young professionals in the Capital Region — bringing together emerging leaders who are ready to grow their careers, expand their networks, and make an impact in their community. Emerge Summit is a collaborative effort powered by regional changemakers that are committed to investing in the next generation of leaders.
“While we devote a tremendous amount of time and energy supporting and advocating for businesses throughout the region, it is also our responsibility — and absolute honor — to also uplift our future business leaders,” said Robert Heidt, President & CEO of the Sacramento Metro Chamber. “We are proud to provide a platform and program that positions young professions for the greatest success possible, while enjoying an incredible experience along the way.”
Designed for early- to mid-career professionals, the Summit is a dynamic day of connection, inspiration, and real conversations about leadership, career growth, and community impact. Attendees join hundreds of their peers from across industries to share ideas, build meaningful relationships, and explore what it means to live, work, and thrive in Sacramento and beyond.
The 2026 Emerge Summit keynote speaker is Whitney Eichinger of Southwest Airlines, who will lead a dynamic conversation on leadership, culture, and what is next. Eichinger is the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Southwest Airlines. Her passion for the iconic culture of Southwest Airlines first propelled her to Vice President of Culture and Engagement where she focused on building strategic programs and change initiatives to support delivery of the renowned Southwest Hospitality by the airline’s highly engaged workforce. Prior to her current role, Eichinger led the airline’s Public Relations Team directing media relations, events, and issues management.
The Emerge Summit also features various breakout sessions focused on Professional Development, Personal Development, and Community Impact Sessions led by industry experts. The break-out sessions cover a wide range of timely topics such as Connecting Up: Creating Impact with Movers, Shakers, and Decision Makers; Earn Your Own Line: Redefining Personal Branding in the Age of AI; and Credit, Confidence, and Career Choices: How Financial Stress Shapes Your Work Life, just to name a few.
“This is a must-attend event for our region’s emerging leaders who are eager to network, learn from one another, and gain valuable insight from energizing thought leaders,” said Savannah Fox, Foundation Program Manager for the Sacramento Metro Chamber. “Attendees will leave feeling motivated, confident, and inspired to grow their careers in the Capital Region.”
The annual event geared to young professionals is unique in that it also activates the local business community for the conference. While the morning session is hosted at The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre, attendees then change locations for different breakout opportunities and for lunch, activating various locally owned Midtown businesses within walking distance.
Throughout the one-day conference that runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., attendees will be exposed to a variety of interactive experiences that represent the creative economy. Then, the event will conclude with a happy hour (4 to 6 p.m.) at Harlow’s, a popular and walkable venue, to celebrate the young professionals and the endless opportunity of impact the future holds for each of them.
The 2026 Emerge Summit is proudly presented by engaged sponsors and partners, including Comstock’s Magazine, Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health, Alliant University, Wilton Rancheria, The Raley’s Companies, Abridged by PBS KVIE, Bardis & Miry Development, Reynen & Bardis Homes, SMUD, Southwest Airlines, and UC Davis MBA.
Each Emerge Summit attendee will receive a coveted swag bag filled with goodies from local businesses to use for networking opportunities. After the 24-hour flash sale concludes on Tuesday, May 12 at 8 a.m., general admission ticket prices are $135 for single tickets through May 20, or $150 on the day of the event (May 21).
