A man was left a bloody mess after being slashed outside of a Hell’s Kitchen bodega on Tuesday night, police reported — and the suspect remains at large as of Wednesday morning.
According to police sources, the attack took place at around 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 1 outside the NY-2 Food Market, located at 769 10th Ave.
Police reported that the suspect and a victim, a 45-year-old man, got into an argument outside of the storefront. The beef turned bloody when the perpetrator pulled out a sharp object and slashed the other man’s neck.
Following the bloody attack, authorities said, the suspect —who was last seen wearing a white sweater, white shorts and white shoes — fled on foot northbound along 10th Avenue.
When paramedics and cops from the Midtown North Precinct arrived, they found the victim covered in blood. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in this latest attack, and the investigation remains ongoing.
This comes after a spate of knife attacks in the Midtown area. On Monday, a 21-year-old man was slashed across the arm and torso on 50th Street and 5th Avenue. That same day, a woman was shot to death by police after she went on a stabbing spree in Times Square, killing one victim and injuring another.
