DOCO (Downtown Commons) is filled with a variety of springtime activations and specials to celebrate Easter and the new season. Highlighted by the first DOCO Makers Market of the year, the plaza’s popular restaurants, bars, retailers, and merchants are serving up Easter brunch menus, sweet offerings, and more.

- DOCO Spring Makers Market: Presented in partnership with River City Marketplace, the DOCO Spring Makers Market takes place on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shoppers can browse a variety of handmade items from local artisans, crafters and makers, adding to DOCO’s dynamic mix of merchants. A live DJ will provide upbeat music throughout the event.
- Cakes by Jeff the Chef: Perfect for holiday celebrations, DOCO’s award-winning chef is offering a limited-time Easter Egg Cheesecake (while supplies last).
- Echo & Rig: Celebrate Easter weekend at DOCO’s premier steakhouse with exceptional dining, a welcoming atmosphere and a relaxed, elevated experience. Plus, the always-popular patio dining overlooking the plaza is back (weather permitting).
- Estelle Bakery & Pâtisserie: With freshbaked goods made on-site daily, the charming French bakery offers an array of spring-inspired tarts and treats such as the new Passion Fruit Entremet a tropical delight in every bite.
- IT’SUGAR: The one-stop candy shop located on DOCO’s main plaza always offers a delicious mix of bulk, nostalgic, specialty candies, and soft plushies. For spring, the store is expanding its selections with themed gifts including springtime gifts such as the IT’SWEDISH Easter Candy Mix Egg, plenty of colorful and fun PEEPS, Bazooka plush varieties, and more.
- Navin’s Custom Tailors*: Celebrating 56 years in business, the premier custom tailor shop is offering a spring special that includes a free shirt with any order of a suit or four shirts (valid through April 15).
- Polanco Cantina: Perfect for special gatherings and celebrations, the vibrant, contemporary restaurant delivers festive energy with bold Mexican flavors and handcrafted cocktails. Reservations are strongly recommended via OpenTable.
- Pressed: With a shop located on DOCO’s main plaza, Pressed offers plenty of ways for a spring refresh with a variety of cleanses and juice options to get your body glowing from the inside out.
- Sandbox VR: College students can enjoy a special 25% OFF the premier virtual reality experience Monday through Thursday (walk-ins only; valid student ID required). Plus, on April 3, a family-friendly educational experience – the Age of Dinosaurs – will debut for players to interact with life-size, scientifically accurate dinosaurs; including close-up encounters with species like Rajasaurus.

DOCO is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Convenient parking is available in DOCO’s central garage with an entrance on J Street between 4th & 5th Streets. Parking validation is available at most DOCO tenants with a purchase. The elevators and escalators take guests up to the plaza’s main level and second level terrace near many of the restaurants, eateries, and retail tenants.
