A new Halloween-themed pop-up has opened in the Big Apple.
The team behind fan-favorite pop-ups Miracle and Sippin’ Santa, Miracle Cocktails Inc. has introduced a spooky cocktail experience, The Haunting on 9th Street.
Located at 649 East 9th St., inside the East Village staple The Cabinet Mezcal Bar, The Haunting allows visitors to immerse themselves in lavish decor and intricately themed cocktails.
“[It] really gives guests a Halloween experience,” Vice President of Miracle Cocktails Joann Spiegel said. “Not only are you entertained by the palate and the delighted flavors of what’s on the menu. You’re also visually stimulated with the mugs that you’re holding and the decor that’s all around you.”

From eerie cobwebs and spiders crawling all around you to creepily arranged dolls, The Haunting on 9th Street is full of spine-chilling frights. But the real stars of the show are the original cocktails.
The menu consists of nine ghoulish cocktails, one shot and two spirit-free options.
Some of the offerings include a sinister black-and-white clown head that holds inside mezcal, aperitif wine, French bitter, pear, fennel, yogurt and lemon in what’s been coined the “Clown Pear-anoia.” Another option comes in a cracked doll’s head and contains a “Liquid Lobotomy” made with The Haunting rum blend, falernum, pumpkin-spiced pineapple, lime and aromatic bitters.

Themed mugs are also available for purchase.
The Haunting on 9th Street will be open through Nov. 2 before transforming into the annual Christmas-themed Sippin’ Santa pop-up.
“Anytime you walk in the door of any of our locations…it should feel like a warm hug of nostalgia, of good times, of laughter, of giggles,” Spiegel said. “I just want people to leave with lasting memories that they want to come back and visit us again.”
