The Giants have signed quarterback Brandon Allen to fill out their depth chart behind Jaxson Dart, the team announced Monday.

The 33-year-old career backup reunites with new Giants passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan. The two worked together when Callahan was the offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in the decade, and last year with the Titans when he was head coach.

He replaces Russell Wilson in the QB room and projects to be the very clear No. 3 on the depth chart behind franchise passer Jaxson Dart and veteran Jameis Winston. Wilson began the 2025 season as New York’s starting quarterback, but was benched after three games for the then-rookie Dart.

Allen has appeared in just five games since the start of the 2022 season. He made one regular-season appearance for the Titans last season behind rookie quarterback Cam Ward, completing 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards with an interception.
