One man was stabbed, and another was slashed in two separate Lower East Side incidents on Thursday morning.
According to police sources, the first incident occurred outside of a McDonald’s located at 724 Broadway. Cops say two men got into a dispute outside of the fast food restaurant when one of them stabbed the other. A 23-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to the back and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities are searching for a man dressed in all black who fled on foot in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, hours later at approximately 6:53 a.m. another man was attacked with a cutting instrument. This assault took place at Saint Mark’s Place and 2nd Avenue. An assailant used a sharp object to slice the right hand of a 44-year-old man. He was also taken to Bellevue Hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police say the victim was uncooperative and did not provide more information about exactly what took place.
No arrests have been made in either case, but the investigations remain ongoing
