A man was slashed across his face during a verbal dispute in Lower Manhattan on Saturday night, police said.
According to authorities, two men got into an argument just before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Delancey Street and FDR Drive inside of the John V. Lindsay East River Park. Things became physical when one of the men brandished a sharp object and slashed a 32-year-old man across his face.
EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the suspect made a run for it and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white and tan shirt.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
