Manhattan detectives need the public’s help in finding a terrible trio that violently robbed a trendy nightclub last month.
The NYPD released on Tuesday morning images of the three suspects sought for the gunpoint robbery at the Obvio cocktail bar located at 3 East 28th St. in Nomad at about 4 a.m. on July 13.
Law enforcement sources said that three suspects invaded the location about five hours after closing time and confronted two male workers, ages 38 and 43. One of the perpetrators displayed a black pistol with an extended magazine.
According to police, the three crooks forced the workers to enter separate bathrooms. The workers then had their hands bound with electrical cords and tape.
After tying up the pair of employees, cops said, the perpetrators removed a safe containing $7,000 in cash, along with numerous bottles of liquor valued at about $7,000, and DJ equipment worth an estimated $13,000. They then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the 13th Precinct. Police said both victims suffered redness to their wrists, but refused medical attention.
So far, no arrests have been made in the active and ongoing investigation.
In several of the images police provided, the robbers were shown wearing black masks and all-black clothing. One of the suspects, however, was caught on camera walking on the street nearby without a mask, but wearing black clothing and carrying a black backpack.

The July 13 incident was one of 83 robberies reported year-to-date in the 13th Precinct. That represents a 21% decrease from the 105 robberies tallied at the same point in 2025.
