This August, Sky River Casino is inviting the community to celebrate the journey with a month-long fourth anniversary celebration filled with cash drawings, live entertainment, giveaways, exclusive experiences and several opportunities to win big.
Lucky enough, the numbers from the casino’s opening date — 8-15-22 — align with three Saturdays this August: Aug. 8, Aug. 15 and Aug. 22. Those dates inspired a series of anniversary-themed weekends designed to thank the guests, team members, and community that have been part of our story since day one.
From celebrity appearances and cash giveaways to free sweet treats, one-of-a-kind experiences and live entertainment, August will be filled with moments that celebrate four remarkable years and the memories still to come.
Live Entertainment Straight from Vegas| August 1 at 8 p.m.
Kick off our month-long anniversary celebration with an evening of Cirque-style entertainment throughout the casino floor, featuring live costumed performers from Las Vegas-based, DreamCast Entertainment.
Founded by Misha Matorin, DreamCast Entertainment has created and toured original circus and Cirque-style theatrical productions across the United States and internationally. Matorin’s career includes creative roles with major productions such as Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère in Las Vegas, Alegría in Japan and the Holiday on Ice European tour.
From LED BMX performers and daring hand-balancing acts to glamorous showgirls and surprise giveaways, the evening promises plenty of opportunities for photos, laughter and unforgettable moments. Free and open to the public, this high-energy event is the perfect way to launch a month of anniversary festivities.
Throughout August, guests will also have the chance to share their favorite Sky River memories through the Anniversary Shout-Out Social Media Contest.
Sky River Rewards members can record a birthday message at the anniversary display located near SR Prime Steakhouse and post it on social media for a chance to win Free Slot Play, creating a collection of stories and well wishes from guests who have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, jackpots and other special moments at the property over the past four years. Star Appearances & Extraordinary Giveaways
Meet one of baseball’s rising stars during a public appearance by Athletics first baseman Tyler Soderstrom near the Rock Bar. On Aug. 12, beginning at 7 p.m., the first 75 guests will have the opportunity to meet Soderstrom and take a photo.
One of the biggest nights of the month arrives on Aug. 14 with the $50,000 Anniversary Cash Giveaway, where guests will compete for cash prizes throughout the evening, culminating with a $25,000 grand prize drawing.
Beginning at 4 p.m. on Aug. 15, Sky River Casino will pause to celebrate the loyal guests who have been part of its journey over the past four years. The first 400 Sky River Rewards members will receive a complimentary assortment of See’s Candies treats as a token of appreciation.
The month concludes with the $850,000 BMW Giveaway Grand Finale on Aug. 29, where one lucky guest will drive away in a new BMW Convertible.
