Police have released the image of a suspect they say beat a 64-year-old woman inside a Manhattan subway station last month.

Police are looking for the suspect who beat a 64-year-old woman inside a Manhattan subway station last month.
The NYPD released on Tuesday images of the woman who allegedly attacked a straphanger at the 86th Street station on the 4/5/6 Lexington Avenue line at about 8:20 a.m. on June 5.
Law enforcement sources said the senior female victim was on board a northbound 5 train that pulled into the station when she attempted to disembark.
Authorities say the suspect was blocking the train’s exit and refused to move. The pair got into an argument that escalated when the perpetrator punched the 64-year-old in the face.
Things didn’t end there, however; cops said the culprit then followed her onto the platform and struck her several more times. The assailant then fled the scene on the 5 train.
The incident was reported to the 19th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 4. Cops said the victim suffered a laceration to her right eye, but refused medical attention on scene.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with stars and the number 76 on the front, and black pants.
